Wilderness Survival & Leadership Tactics for Professionals
Strategies for Thriving, Not Just Surviving
There are many parallels between surviving in the wild and surviving in the corporate world. One common thread for both is the fact that we should not just exist to survive, but rather to thrive. In the woods or in the boardroom, we should prepare ourselves to excel, not just keep up. We should expect ourselves to prosper, not just get by. This course broadens your capabilities to not only survive during stressful conditions, but to thrive through demanding circumstances. You will build your confidence and expand your insight so that you have the advantage to succeed.
Experiences in the wilderness, living off of what nature provides, respecting the wildlife and existing simply, yet fully can be related to our experiences in the corporate culture. We co-exist with our peers; navigate a competitive environment and work to sustain a satisfying existence.
In this course, we push the metaphor even further. We combine the practical and effective training of wilderness survival with proven and applicable leadership tactics to immerse you in a gratifying, insightful experience. This course will give you the confidence, strategies and skills you need to not only survive, but to thrive.
The structure of this program can be made to incorporate several team activities, as well as individual reflection. Combining leadership insights with wilderness survival is a unique and exciting offering that will benefit many types of companies, individuals and teams.
